Product Review By: Darren Alexander - Bodybuilder
Darren Alexander is a Heavyweight Competitive Bodybuilder who has been training for 12 years and competing for 1 year.
I tested oxygen to see how it would affect my rep ranges and overall strength in multiple exercises. I did the same exercises a week apart without oxygen and then with oxygen. All exercises were done to failure. On the days where I used oxygen, I took 10 shots of oxygen immediately before the set.
My Results by Exercise:
Hammer Strength Incline Press (Chest)
- Control (Without O2) - 160lbs on each side - 8 reps
- With O2 - 180 lbs on each side - 8 reps
Squat (Legs)
- Control - 1 Set - 225lbs for 23 reps
- With O2 - 2 Sets - 225 for 25 reps
- Note: Normally after doing 1 set of squats at such a high rep count I am completely spent and am not able to do another set. With O2, not only did I increase my reps significantly, but I was able to complete another set at the same rep count. This is a HUGE improvement.
Rack Pulls (Back)
- Control - 405lbs for 8 reps
- With O2 - 495lbs for 7 reps
Alternate Dumbbell Curls (Biceps)
- Control - 60lbs each side for 12 reps
- With O2 - 70lbs on each side for 11 reps
My Conclusion:
- When I used oxygen, I was able to complete noticeably higher reps with the same amount of weight, or similar amount of reps with significantly more weight. I was also recovering faster in-between sets thus reducing the time needed for my rest periods. I was truly amazed by the results. The results also prove that the oxygen allows me to train at a higher level and push myself harder in the gym which, with the proper diet and nutrition, will result in faster muscle growth. This is a great product and an essential tool in my arsenal for coming into my next show in the near future as a super-heavyweight.
Other Comments:
- Besides the increase in reps and strength, I noticed that when I use oxygen I recover much faster between sets and feel much fresher throughout my entire workout.
- The O2 combined with a good Creatine / NO preworkout product and proper carb loading give me incredible pumps during training.
