Fight Lactic Acid and Increase Endurance

Do you ever get that burning feeling in your muscles while working out, right before you’re about to reach your limit? That is lactic acid build-up, and it essentially is a signal that your body is at or near capacity. Most people don't realize this, but supplemental oxygen, when administered in sufficient amounts, can help fight lactic acid, thereby increasing your endurance and overall athletic performance, no matter what type of activity you’re doing.

While pushing yourself is largely psychological in sports and exercise, the body does actually have physiological limitations. Muscles need fuel and oxygen to perform and even more so during rigorous physical activity. When muscles aren’t getting enough oxygen during a workout, the body goes into anaerobic mode, in which lactic acid starts accumulating. Essentially, this indicates there is a deficiency of oxygen that cannot be sustained for long periods of time. The end result is muscle fatigue, which dramatically impacts athletic performance.

To put it simply, the more oxygen you make available to your muscles during exercise, the less lactic acid they typically produce and the more endurance you will have. A common rule of thumb is, the harder the workout, the more beneficial supplemental oxygen will be to an athlete.

Breathing oxygen is, and always will be, the most effective way to supplement your body with oxygen. By entering through your lungs, the oxygen hits the bloodstream in seconds and is immediately available to your muscles where it can be converted to energy and help stave off lactic acid.

Previously, breathing oxygen was only available by prescription and under a doctor’s supervision. This made it only accessible to elite level athletes with large training budgets (like the NFL). Fortunately however, industry breakthroughs have made recreational breathing oxygen available for anyone without a prescription and at affordable prices. So now, you too can get a serious boost of oxygen before and during your workouts which may help slow the production of lactic acid, increase your endurance, and help you get better results from your training.

The best thing about using oxygen supplementation to enhance athletic performance is that it's 100% natural, it has no dangerous side effects, and it should help you get a lot more benefit out of all your other supplements. When you compare it to other performance enhancers on the market, recreational breathing oxygen seems to be the obvious choice.
