I was given oxygen from Oxygen4energy.com and asked to test it out with a few different MMA athletes in sparring, grappling and strength training. Here is what we determined:
Strength Training
Two MMA fighters were given a can of Oxygen4Energy and asked to perform a max lift on their bench press.
Fighter A had previously had a max bench of 275 lbs at 3 reps. After dispensing 10 bursts of O2 from the can, the fighter was able to push 285 lbs at 3 reps.
Fighter B had a previous max bench of 315 lbs at 2 reps. After 10 shots, the athlete broke his personal record and pushed 315 at 4 reps.
Endurance/Boxing
Our athlete took 10 quick inhales of oxygen as directed prior to an intense 3 round, sparring session.
The athlete reported feeling less fatigued and more powerful and explosive while hitting the heavy bag. The athlete also reported he felt that the 30 second rest allowed for quicker and more complete recovery and he was ready to begin his next round immediately. The athlete reported feeling less fatigued than ever before after three, 3 min rounds, and felt as though he could go another round with relative ease for the first time
Jiu Jitsu
Competitor did 10 shots prior to first match in Directors (yes the wheelchair division) bracket at NAGA July 10th in Atlanta GA. Match went full time with a 12-2 victory, and the competitor reports having felt less fatigued than usual for a five minute roll.
10 more shots were taken prior to next match and match was won in 1min 40 secs with a straight arm bar from half guard.
Competitor wins Gold.
My Conclusion
Oxygen delivers as promised. It increases power and endurance and seems to fight off lactic acid very effectively when used prior to exertion. This is a great product for MMA athletes to improve their physical performance.
