Living in Hawaii not only means that I get to live in one of the most beautiful places on earth, but that I have to travel to every powerlifting competition I do. Being on an airplane, oxygen deprived for hours, puts me at a disadvantage. I put the oxygen from Oxygen4Energy.com to the test for the first time this past month (Nov. 2009). I had two big goals: Break the AAPF American Full meet bench record on 11/7 in Texas then fly to Vegas and break the WPF single lift Bench Record on 11/14! I remember being in the Texas warm up room thinking, “Gosh, I feel great”! I usually a lot of drink energy drinks during a competition, but I didn’t have to on this trip thanks to the oxygen. The next test came in restoring my body for my next meet only 7 days later. I usually have to take 6-8 ibuprofens after a full meet just to eliminate muscle soreness and inflammation, but I didn’t have to do that either on this trip again thanks to the oxygen. Never in my numerous years of powerlifting have I had so little soreness after a full meet. I was truly amazed at how fast I was able to recover and felt confident going into my next meet. On Nov. 14, I met both my goals, successfully breaking both records by substantial margins. Oxygen4Energy gave me that extra edge I needed!
