Congratulations to Oxygen4Energy Athlete, Georgi Karakhanyan, for his unanimous decision victory at the Bellator Fighting Championships presents Bellator 28 from New Orleans, LA!
The fight took place on the evening of Thursday, September 9th, 2010 when featherweight Georgi “Insane” Karakhanyan squared off against Anthony Leone in the second of four featured card fights on the night. The Armenian-born, Karakhanyan, is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu specialist who had been enjoying a nine fight win streak dating back to May 2008 until that streak was broken in May of this year. This was Georgi’s first fight back since the May defeat so he was hungry for redemption which forced him to train harder for this fight than he ever had previously trained for a fight.
His intensified training regimen partnered with his use of Oxygen4Energy paid off as Georgi won in dominating fashion, winning each of the three rounds: 29-28, 30-27, 30-27 respectively.
