Oxygen Bars vs. Canned Oxygen

When it comes to recreational oxygen use, it seems there are two main options to choose from: oxygen bar or canned oxygen.

An oxygen bar is a physical place where you actually sit down in a bar like atmosphere and breath oxygen enriched air for a given period of time. You breath in the oxygen enriched air through a non-medical mask or nasal cannula. Most bars even offer different flavors of oxygen. Oxygen at an Oxygen Bar will typically cost about $1 a minute and has a concentration range from 50% to 90% oxygen.

Canned oxygen is non-medical, oxygen enriched air (95% concentration) delivered from a can by low pressure via a non-airtight mask or spray nozzle. It is very affordable and completely portable, which means you can take it with you everywhere you go. Some canned oxygen also comes with flavors. The amount of oxygen per can varies depending on the brand. Typically, canned oxygen is administered in 1-2 second shots with 5-10 shots being needed to feel a noticeable difference.

Let's take a look at the table below discussing the pros and cons of each
