Oxygen4Energy Sponsors American Lung Association's Fight For Air Climb in Salt Lake City
Oxygen4Energy is partnering with the American Lung Association in support of the Feb. 26th, 2011 Fight For Air Climb from the Wells Fargo Center in Salt Lake City, UT.
The Climb is a unique event where participants race up the 598 stairs of the Wells Fargo Center. They start at staggered times so as to accommodate a fluid flow of racers in the stairwell. After the race, climbers and their families gather on the 23rd floor for an after-race event with food and celebration.
The proceeds of the race help the ALA fund research to treat and cure various lung conditions and diseases including lung cancer, emphysema, and COPD. The event also helps spread awareness of the real life struggles that people in our communities endure as a result of diagnosed as well as undiagnosed respiratory conditions.
Hopefully, through the support of events like this, everyone will one day be able to enjoy fresh, clean air during any daily pursuit!
