Powerlifting News: Richard McDowell sets new APA Bench Press World Record
Congratulations to Oxygen4Energy sponsored athlete, Richard McDowell, for setting a new APA Bench Press World Record in the 275 lb Masters division. Richard was able to bench 680 pounds in 110 degree heat (the AC broke in the arena). Even though it was a multi-ply event, Rich lifted in a single ply bench shirt and STILL was able to beat the World Record.
According to Richard, "The Oxygen definitely made the difference for me. I had tons of energy for my last attempt while the other guys were completely wore down from the heat."
