Powerlifting News: Ryan Celli sets a new RAW World Record lifting 1840 lbs!
Congratulations to Oxygen4Energy sponsored power lifter, Ryan Celli, for setting a new RAW World Record at the 2010 Mike Witmer Memorial Open. (RAW means no supportive gear.)
His combined total in the 198 lb weight division was 1840 pounds, with is squat being 625 lbs, his bench being 530 lbs and his dead lift being 685 lbs. These are HUGE numbers without any support gear!
According to Celli, "I used oxygen every training day for the past few months and as expected, had a phenomenal training cycle! I also used oxygen before and after every lift at the meet and felt fresh and explosive all day, completing all 9 of my lifts. Everyone was asking me about the oxygen at the meet. I'm just glad I found it before my competition! The other thing that amazed me was that I wasn't really that sore in the days following the meet. The last RAW meet I did I was wrecked for over a week. I definitely contribute that to the oxygen as well."
