Track and Field News: Oxygen4Energy Athlete Lerone Clarke runs 9.90 sec in Florida
On Saturday, June 11th, Oxygen4Energy Athlete Lerone Clarke from Jamaica ran a 9.90 sec 100m sprint beating out Justin Gatlin by .07 seconds at the Star Athletics Invitational in Florida.
According to Clarke's coach, Coach Malcolm, "Lerone has been training really hard this season and seems to be peaking at the right time. With Jamaica having so many great sprinters, earning a spot on the World Championship team would a great accomplishment. I believe he is up for the challenge."
This time beat Clarke's Personal Best by .09 seconds and puts him among the fastest times in the World for 2011.
"The oxygen from Oxygen4Energy has given me the ability to train harder and recover faster and I'm starting to see the benefits in competition. Running a race like this gives me a lot of confidence. I'm excited to see what I run at Nationals," said Clarke.
Just another dominating performance by an Oxygen4Energy Athlete!
