James takes considerable pride in partnering with Oxygen4Energy and uses the 99% pure canned oxygen to supplement his tough workouts. James has lived in the United States since 2000 and has spent the years developing his Ultimate Fighting Career. Wilks has amassed a record of five wins and two losses. 2008 was a very busy and successful year for the competitive fighter. He was a Gold Medalist in the Gracie US Nationals, the Welterweight Champion in the Gladiator Challenge and he was the coach of the 2008 Prankration US National Champions.

James Wilks is getting ready to appear on the hit US television program, The Ultimate Fighter. This is the show’s ninth season and, for the first time, will feature 16 UK fighters who will compete to participate in an eventual UK vs. US finale which will be held in Las Vegas sometime this June.

The 16 UK Ultimate Fighters, of which Wilks is a member, will battle it out in a competition to see who will be one of eight UK fighters that gets to represent his nation and live in the Ultimate Fighter house. The fighters who live in the house will be televised 24 hours a day, in the style of the popular television show Big Brother.

For now, James "Lightning" Wilks plans on continuing his training, with the help of Oxygen4Energy, and setting his sights on the Ultimate Fighting championship that will give the winner lots of publicity and a $100,000 UFC contract. Good luck James!
